provide the form weeks to months a head of time as we have to plan
on the home coming as well as get the items donated for the "Welcome Home Basket"
pictured below.
It
is at times impossible for a request at the last minute, but we
will try if we can. Please take into consideration of the Veteran
and the Volunteers that are helping out with Citrus County Heroes
as we have to plan, coordinate, account, organize and manage
the Welcome Home Baskets and this does take time.
We do not have Baskets already made up to take to a veteran at any given notice.
This is why we are asking for time so we can do what we need to do
in order to Welcome Home the Citrus County Veteran properly,
please give us weeks or more notice or even way before their
return.
Also,
we don't know of the Veteran returning unless we are told by you a
Family member or close friend. We don't get a list from anyone and
we rely on you to let us know ahead of time.

County Hero gets when they return from
either the Iraqi or Afghanistan Theater of
Operations!
Of course it all depends on the amount of
the donations we receive, all of this is done by donations only and
if you would like to donate as a person, Veterans Organization or
even as your Merchant Store all donations are welcome.
